Mara C.

Mara studied for her Bachelor's degree in English Literature at the prestigious Durham University. After graduating with First-Class Honours, she obtained a Master's degree in medieval English at the University of Oxford.

 

Compared with native English-speaking tutors, Mara is better at understanding the unique learning difficulties of non-native-speaking students and teaches students according to their specific aptitudes.  She has also taught students with special needs.

Emily is an all-rounded teacher. In addition to being fluent in English and Latin, she also speaks German.

 

Upon obtaining her Master's degree in Medieval English at the University of Oxford, Emily began for a doctorate (DPhil in English) focusing on medieval poetry at Oxford.

Tiffany Z.

English Tutor

Tiffany is passionate about English language education. After obtaining a BA in English and English Literature, she graduated with an MA degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at the University of Newcastle. After participating in educational research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, she attended Oxford University to study MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Languages.

 

Tiffany will begin her doctoral degree at Oxford later this year. With nearly ten years of teaching experience and continuously improving her teaching methods, Tiffany is a great teacher for writing and reading.

Rowan W.

English Tutor

Rowan is passionate about language learning. In addition to having studied English literature and German, Rowan has achieved an A* in Latin and Ancient Greek in their GCSE examinations. After their A-Levels, they read English and English Literature at Oxford University.

After graduating with First Class Honours, they progressed to Oxford University to study for an MA in Medieval English. In the future, Rowan will continue to develop in the direction of research.

Science Tutor

Michael graduated from the prestigious Durham University with a Master’s in Chemistry. Not only does he have rich experience in online tutoring, he also has industrial experience at Pfizer and AstraZeneca. This enables him to explain Chemistry using real life examples that tutors from other institutions may not be aware of.

Maths and Physics Tutor

Matteo is from Italy but speaks fluent British English. After completing a MA in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at Oxford University, he is currently pursuing a PhD in the Netherlands. He is witty and jolly, which makes him good at encouraging and motivating his students, who always love working with him.
